ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the talks will be held with the Chinese leadership on the early completion of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
During his visit to China, the foreign minister said that he would represent Pakistan in the Pak-China Strategic Dialogue and would also meet his Chinese counterpart Wang Zhi.
Qureshi said that no one can deny the importance of CPEC. “Pakistan and China are keen to discuss the changing situation in the world,” he said. The Foreign Minister said that China came to the fore when India tried to occupy a disputed territory.
“This is my first visit to China since the coronavirus was reduced,” he said. Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that India’s illegal treatment against Kashmiris was known to all. “The situation in Kashmir is important for both countries as the situation in IoK is deteriorating,” he added.
