ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has regularised Prime Minister Imran Khan’s private residence in Bani Gala after the latter paid a fine of more than Rs1.2 million.
According to details, the map of the Prime Minister’s house in Bani Gala was approved under the amended Building Regulation 2020. The premier also paid a fine of Rs1.26 million for getting the map approved.
The approved map also includes 6 bedrooms, a drawing-room, a dining hall, a playroom, an office, and a reception in the Prime Minister s house. The map was approved by the CDA’s Building Control Department.
The total area of the prime minister’s residence is 11,371 feet. The CDA has informed that 150 applications have been received from the Bani Gala neighbourhood for regularisation of building plans.
Meanwhile, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz came out with a strong reaction. Responding to a tweet about the regularisation, Maryam said demolish poor people’s houses, but regularise the “selected” one’s house.
