A suspect accused of killing a close relative with a sharp-edged knife in Lahore’s Shahdara Town several days ago has been arrested along with his son.
According to details, the suspect allegedly killed a man identified as Hamid during a dispute over rent before fleeing the scene.
The DIG Operations formed a team to arrest those involved in the incident.
Following coordinated efforts under the supervision of Shahdara Town SHO Khurram Shehzad, police arrested the suspects named in the FIR.
The arrested suspects, identified as Safdar and his son, are being further interrogated as part of the investigation.

Earlier, a man allegedly killed his elderly mother and a female neighbor by attacking them with an iron rod in the Harbanspura area of Lahore.
According to police, two daughters of the neighboring woman were also injured in the attack, while the suspect has been arrested.
Police said the 70-year-old woman, Sultana, had a minor dispute with her neighbor, Kaneez Fatima. Following the argument, the suspect, identified as Aurangzeb, allegedly assaulted both women, resulting in their deaths.
