In a shocking turn of events, a family accused a private hospital in Rawalpinidi of putting their dead 13-year-old boy on a ventilator in order to amass hospital bill.
According to Aaj News, Syed Zohaib Shah, a kid, died soon after undergoing surgery at the hospital.
His family claimed that the hospital misled them into believing he was still alive and placed him on a ventilator. The families said that until they had paid the entire Rs.250,000 cost, they were ignorant of the situation. The boy’s death was then reported to the family.
The hospital is currently under fire for allegedly acting unethically and neglecting to notify the family of their child’s death as soon as possible.
