Police have arrested a so-called faith healer for raping women and filming them in an area of Bhakkar, Punjab.
The fraudulent spiritual healer used to trick women into believing that black magic would help them reach their objectives, including love marriages, having children, and making amends with their husbands.
The suspect also filmed women on camera while they were being physically assaulted. Police have found the USB that contained the attack videos.
While more investigation is being conducted, a case has been filed against the suspect at the Haiderabad police station.
Earlier in July, Faisalabad’s Chak Jhumra police had arrested another so-called faith-healer who allegedly raped a 16-year-old daughter of his follower, working as a house help at his residence.
As per police sources, the girl, daughter of a follower of the suspect, was left at his house to work as a maid. The survivor girl told the police that the suspect had been raping her for the last four months.
Her medical examination revealed that she was pregnant.
