Former Punjab minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan has announced that he is parting ways with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI).
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Tuesday, he lamented that the PTI chief Imran Khan did not utter a single word of sympathy for him, despite the number of sacrifices he had given for the party.
He said that all the leaders would testify that he had asked PTI Chairman Imran Khan numerous times to discard the “policy of violence”
However, he expressed his desire to see Imran Khan as the Prime Minister once again.
He said that the PML-N members knew very well that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was connected with Imran Khan or with someone else.
He lashed out at a number of PTI leaders and the party chief for following anti-army policies.
Chohan has claimed that PTI chairman Imran Khan “trained” party supporters to “move towards” military installations during a rally on May 1.
“I tried to make Imran understand that we are followers of Quaid-e-Azam and told him to stop this confrontation against the state and institutions,” he maintained.
