The inbound UAE flights have been suspended for travellers from Pakistan as part of the COVID-19 precautionary measures. Hundreds of Pakistanis are stuck in their native country due to suspension of flights.
Emirates recently updated its website, noting that passengers who have connected through Pakistan in the last 14 days will not be accepted to travel from any other point to the UAE.
However, it also noted that UAE Nationals, holders of UAE Golden Visas and members of diplomatic missions who comply with updated Covid-19 protocols will be exempt for travel.
The UAE has taken strict measures to contain the spread of coronavirus, which has claimed nearly four million lives across the world.
