Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman congratulated all the leaders of the Islamic world, including Pakistan, on Eid-ul-Adha.
One million Muslims performed the Hajj after spending the night in Muzdalifah under the open sky. They left Mina after Fajr prayers. They will offer sacrifices today, shave their heads and take off their ehram.
The festival is marked as a commemoration of Prophet Ibrahim’s absolute dedication to Allah and is celebrated by Muslims all around the world in the month of Zul Hijjah/Dhu al-Hijjah, which is the twelfth month of the Islamic or lunar calendar.
