MOSCOW: Governor Roman Starovoyt of Russian region of Kursk has claimed that a drone attack has been carried out at an airfield as a result of which oil storage tank has caught fire. This came just one day after two Russian airbases in Ryazan and Saratov Regions far from the border were targeted with similar weapons.

Kursk Region Governor Roman Starovoyt was quoted by Russian media as saying that “as a result of a drone attack, an oil storage tank caught fire in the area of the Kursk airfield. The fire is being localized. All emergency agencies are on site.”
Videos posted by social media users showed large cloud of smoke at the Russian airfield in Kursk.

Governor Roman Starovoyt said there were no casualties as a result of the air strike on Kursk airfield.
