Celebrated Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik arrived in Pakistan on Monday to deliver a series of lectures across several major cities. However, due to security concerns, the venue for his lecture in Karachi has reportedly been changed.
Dr. Naik, who is visiting Pakistan at the special invitation of the government, is expected to meet with prominent national figures. His lectures are anticipated to draw large audiences, with both scholars and the general public eager to hear his teachings.
His Karachi talk, which was originally supposed to take place at Bagh-e-Quaid, will now be conducted on October 5 and 6 at Bahria Auditorium, according to Dialogue Pakistan. Moreover, Dr. Naik has reportedly been prohibited by security officials from speaking at public events in public spaces.
Additionally, he has only interacted with a small group of professors and students at Jamia Binoria Aalamia, as instructed by intelligence services.
Dr. Zakir Naik has expressed appreciation for the love and hospitality shown by the people of Pakistan.
He stressed the importance of unity among Muslims worldwide, urging them to set aside differences and unite under the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah to confront the challenges facing the Muslim Ummah.
