The federal government has announced the early disbursement of salaries and pensions for government employees ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr. The Ministry of Finance has issued a formal notification confirming the decision.
With Eid expected to fall on either March 31 or April 1, officials have decided to release salaries and pensions on March 27 to ensure financial ease for employees during the festive period.
The notification also confirms that both active government employees and retirees will receive their payments on the same day.
Additionally, the Ministry of Finance has directed the Controller General of Accounts to facilitate the timely processing of these payments.
