BEIJING: Countries started to evacuate their residents from the hardest-hit Chinese city on Wednesday after an outbreak of a new virus that has killed 132 people and affected over 6,000 people on the mainland and worldwide.
Four men with cough and fever were on a Japanese flight taking evacuees back. The three men and one women were brought to a Tokyo hospital for treatment and further medical examinations in separate ambulances.

It was not known exactly if they were infected with the new type of coronavirus that emerged in December in the central town of Wuhan. The symptoms are similar to many other diseases, including cough and fever and in severe cases pneumonia.
The recent figures from China include the preceding 24 hours and add 26 to the number of deaths, 25 of which were in Hubei central province and its capital, Wuhan.
