LAHORE: The Counter Terror Department (CTD) conducted various raids across the province and rounded up at least four suspects.

According to CTD spokesperson, their department conducted raids in Lahore and other districts across the province and rounded up four suspects on the basis of intelligence based information.
The suspects have been identified as Ali Raza, Ali Akbar, Zahir Mehmood and Naik Mohammad and all of them are affiliated with banned organizations, said the spokesperson.
He further said that funds collected for the outlawed outfit and banned literature were also recovered from their possession.

The spokesperson said that during current week, 327 combing operations were conducted and 14,320 people were checked.
As many as 42 suspected persons were arrested and 39 FIRs were registered, the spokesperson concluded.
