CTD arrests four target killers of MQM-L

KARACHI: Counter Terrorist Department (CTD) has apprehended four alleged target killers associated with Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L).
According to details, the four target killers have been identified as Farhan Ali, Mazhar, Atif, and Farrukh. Incharge CTD Ali Raza informed that the target killers were involved in heinous criminal activities including, the killing of several people.
Incharge CTD Ali Raza further said, “Farhan was an active member of Unit 99 in Karachi’s Khokhrapar area.” Farhan, according to Ali Raza, has admitted his role in killing five people and the supply of illegal weapons.
On the other hand, accused Mazhar had facilitated and supervised the target killing activities in the said area. The other two accused are also involved in supplying illegal arms and other criminal activities.
Earlier in June, in a similar action against target killers, CTD arrested three target killers in a raid. The accused Mudassir Ameer and Minhaj Shahid were taken under custody along with another from the Pirabad area of the city.
