LAHORE: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested 12 terrorists of the banned organization from various cities of Punjab, taking action in view of terrorism fears.
According to CTD officials, intelligence-based operations were conducted in Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Multan, Bahawalpur, and Gujranwala. The arrested terrorists belong to the outlawed Daesh and TTP.
Officials say that the terrorists have been identified as Mir Ahmed, Habibur Rehman, Haroon, Zia, Imran, Mudassar, Adeel, and Farooq.

According to CTD officials, explosive material, suicide vests, detonators, hand grenades, arms, bullets, and cash have been recovered from the possession of terrorists.
Officials said that the investigation is ongoing by filing cases against the terrorists, 40 suspects were arrested during 249 combing operations this week. CTD officials said that no effort will be spared to bring the anti-state elements to the role of infidels.
