RAWALPINDI: Anti Corruption Establishment Punjab has arrested four people including corrupt employees.
Anti-Corruption Punjab arrested corrupt government employees from Rawalpindi, Gujarat, Jhang and Faisalabad and recovered bribe money. Anti-Corruption arrested Patwari Mohammad Shehzad while receiving bribes during the operation in Rawalpindi. Accused Mohammad Shehzad took 40,000 bribes from the citizen and also recovered marked notes.

On the other hand, Patwari Tauseef Hussain from Gujarat was arrested through a trap raid. Accused Tauseef Hussain received a bribe of Rs 60,000 from a citizen. Anti-Corruption Punjab said that a case was registered against Tauseef Hussain in Gujarat Anti-Corruption Police Station and also recovered bribe money.
In addition, registrar Muharram Mohammad Zaman was arrested from Jhang while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000. Mohammad Zaman took a bribe of Rs 40,000 from a citizen and demanded another Rs 10,000. In Faisalabad, a notorious accused was arrested for obtaining citizen’s land through forgery.
Accused Muhammad Rafique, with the connivance of other accused, registered the death of 27 kanals of land in his name while Anti-Corruption Punjab arrested the accused wanted in Case No. 34/19 after 3 years.
