In the District and Sessions Court Islamabad, accused Hassan Zahid, arrested in the case of alleged abduction and cash snatching of TikToker Samia Hijab, confessed to the crime in court.
Islamabad police presented the arrested accused Hassan Zahid before Judicial Magistrate Yasir Mehmood Chaudhry at the District and Sessions Court.
The judge asked the accused: “Tell me, why did you issue these threats and why did you abduct?” Confessing to the crime, the accused replied: “Sir! I made a mistake.”
The police requested an 8-day physical remand of the accused, stating that the vehicle, pistol, and cash need to be recovered from him. The court handed the accused over to the police on a 5-day physical remand.
It is pertinent to mention that a case had been registered yesterday against accused Hassan Zahid at Shalimar Police Station, Islamabad, for harassing a woman and issuing death threats.
In the FIR, the victim alleged that accused Hassan Zahid had been following her for several days and repeatedly pressuring her by giving gifts.
Famous TikToker Samia Hijab further told the police that on August 31 at 6:30 in the evening, the accused tried to forcibly take her away from outside her house and openly threatened her with revenge and death.
