Indian actress Sonali Raut has alleged serious health and safety violations on the set of Bigg Boss Marathi Season 6, claiming she developed a severe skin infection due to extremely unhygienic conditions inside the house.
The actor shared a disturbing video showing her condition and said she has issued a legal notice to the show’s makers over poor sanitation and associated health risks.
According to Indian media, the actress claimed she was not only subjected to mental distress during the show but was also forced to live in inhumane conditions, which led to her contracting a contagious skin disease.
Sharing videos on social media showing marks and wounds on her body, Raut revealed that she had developed a skin condition called Scabies.

She alleged that large rats roamed the kitchen and consumed grocery supplies, and that food for contestants was prepared using the same contaminated items. She further claimed that cockroaches were often found in the meals provided during the show.
As a form of punishment, she said, 17 contestants were made to share a single bathroom, where people smoked, ate, and created unhygienic conditions, with even dead rats reportedly found there.
Raut added that due to poor hygiene, contestants were forced to share towels and napkins. She also claimed that appliances like microwaves and dryers were outdated and reused from previous shows, still bearing stickers of former participants.
Moreover, the actress alleged that her confidential contract was shared with other contestants, calling it a serious breach of trust and legal violation.
