Chohan claims motorway incident to reach logical conclusion

LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan has claimed that the motorway gang rape incident will reach a logical conclusion in a few hours.

In a message issued by Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said that Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar was keeping a close watch on the investigation. He further said that the inquiry committee informed Buzdar about the progress in the investigation.

Chohan said that all the agencies including Home Department, Police, and Forensic Science Agency have been engaged in an investigation for the last two days and the culprits will soon be brought to book.

On the other hand, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Shahbaz Gul has said that the DNA of the accused who raped a woman on the motorway has been matched.

Taking to Twitter, Shahbaz Gul said that congratulations to the entire team including Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, IG Punjab, and CCPO Lahore.
