The Poultry Association has justified the increase in prices by citing a rise in input costs and has raised the prices of chicken meat and eggs, rejecting the government’s rate list altogether.
Furthermore, the prices of eggs have also reached the highest level in history, being sold at 384 rupees per dozen.
