The prices of chicken meat and eggs have reached a historic high in Lahore as the poultry association has rejected the rate list issued by the administration.

In Lahore, the Poultry Association has defied the official rate list and is selling chicken meat at its own prices, which are higher than the prescribed rates. The Poultry Association has categorically denied accepting the official rate list.

In various areas of Lahore, chicken meat is being sold at prices as high as 602 rupees per kilogram. Prices of chicken have surged, and the control of the administration has come to an end.

The Poultry Association has justified the increase in prices by citing a rise in input costs and has raised the prices of chicken meat and eggs, rejecting the government’s rate list altogether.

Furthermore, the prices of eggs have also reached the highest level in history, being sold at 384 rupees per dozen.
