Cases against Zardari, Talpur belong to Sindh: Saeed Ghani

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Information and Archives Saeed Ghani said that former president Asif Ali Zardari has been incarcerated for six months now with no case lodged against him.
Speaking at a press conference, Saeed Ghani said that for the first time in history, crime and trial are being held in different provinces. He demanded that Zardari’s personal physician should be included on the medical board.
“Why are these unique justice scales chosen for the PPP?” he asserted, adding that the cases regarding the allegations against Asif Zardari and Faryal Talpur belong to Sindh.
The minister expressed that cases against Zardari, Faryal Talpur and Khursheed Shah have not yet been started.
”If a bargain had to be made, they would not have suffered so much,” he said, adding that cases should be handled as per law.
He argued that every death in Thar should not be attributed to malnutrition. He added that some children are brought to hospitals in serious condition.
Saeed Ghani said that the hospital in Mithi – a subdistrict and the capital of Tharparkar District – has already been improved.
