The cast of Brooklyn Nine-Nine recently had a recent reunion where they honoured Andre Braugher, known for playing Captain Raymond Holt in the series.
On Instagram, series star Chelsea Peretti, who played Gina on the show shared images of the cast’s first reunion after Braugher’s death with a caption ‘Tonite was like a very special episode where we ran thru so many memories and moments’.

Andre Braugher passed away unexpectedly in December 2023. He was only 61 years old at the time of his death. Following the tragic news, it was revealed that Braugher had been diagnosed with lung cancer a few months prior.
The late actor at that time kept the diagnosis private and had continued to work, and he’d started filming for an upcoming Netflix project. Brooklyn Nine-Nine was a sitcom that followed the officers of the New York City Police Department under the watch of Braugher’s Captain Holt.
The show’s ensemble cast included Andy Samberg, Stephanie Beatriz, Chelsea Peretti, Melissa Fumero, Terry Crews, Joe Lo Truglio, Dirk Blocker, and Joel McKinnon Miller.
