Renowned makeup artist Shainal Khan has responded to actress Mishi Khan’s recent criticism of his fashion choice showcased at the Hum Style Awards a few days ago.
In his reaction to the actress’s critique, Khan emphasized the subjective nature of art and fashion, stating, “For all the critics out there who may not understand high fashion, it’s important to recognize that art and fashion are subjective. Each person has their own taste and preference when it comes to clothing.” He highlighted that he opted for a different style, beautifully crafted by a talented new designer, which he felt confident in.
While acknowledging that it’s acceptable not to like someone’s attire, Khan advocated for constructive criticism from those with a genuine appreciation for art. He urged critics to focus on his work as a makeup artist, which is his primary domain of expertise, rather than interfering in other aspects of his life. Khan also expressed his disregard for individuals who resort to inappropriate language, asserting that he does not engage with those lacking ethical conduct.
It’s worth noting that Mishi Khan had previously voiced her dissatisfaction with men’s fashion at the Hum Style Awards held in Karachi, specifically singling out an outfit worn by celebrity makeup artist Shainal Khan. Khan’s unconventional fashion choice had garnered attention for its departure from the traditional attire typically seen at such events.
