At least six people have lost their lives in separate incidents of electrocution and wall collapses during ongoing heavy rainfall in Karachi.
According to details, a man died after suffering an electric shock at a house near Bashir Chowk in Hassan Brohi Goth, located in New Karachi.
Similarly, a man lost his life due to electrocution in Ahsanabad Sector 3 near the Super Highway.
Another incident occurred near Quetta Hotel in PIB Colony, where a man was electrocuted and died. Reports of similar incidents have also been received from other areas.
Preliminary information suggests that the exact causes remain unclear; however, exposed wiring and the spread of electricity in accumulated rainwater are being considered likely factors.
Authorities have advised citizens to take precautionary measures during the ongoing rains.
