ISLAMABAD: Aseefa Bhutto Zardari is set to start her parliamentary politics as PPP announced her candidacy for the by-election of National Assembly Constituency NA-207, Nawabshah.
The NA-207 seat in Nawabshah was left vacant by PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari following his second presidential inauguration in the nation’s history.
As per ARY News, the selection of NA-207 as Aseefa Bhutto’s constituency came after consultations within the family. Aseefa Bhutto Zardari is set to represent PPP in the upcoming by-polls for the NA-207 seat.
Previously, there were indications that Aseefa Bhutto Zardari might contest the by-election for NA-196, a seat vacated by her brother Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
