Chandigarh: Renowned Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan have tested positive for COVID-19 and have been hospitalized.
On a social media website Twitter, on Saturday evening the actor confirmed that he had tested positive for COVID-19.
“I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff underwent tests, results awaited”.

The actor is 77 and was last seen in ‘Gulabo Sitabo’—a movie in which he shared screen space with actor Ayushmann Khurana.
The film was initially going to be released in theaters, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it premiered on Amazon Prime Video.
Big B will also return to host the twelfth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. The auditions of the show are currently underway. Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming movies include Chehre, Brahmastra and Jhund.
