The prime suspect in the Ameer Balaj Tipu murder case, Taifi Butt, who was wanted by Lahore Police, was killed by the firing of his own accomplices. The suspect, Taifi Butt, was fleeing after being arrested.
According to details, the prime suspect in the Ameer Balaj Tipu murder case had been brought back to Pakistan from abroad. While the team was taking Taifi Butt to Lahore, the suspect’s accomplices attacked near Sanjar Pur.
In the attack near Sanjar Pur, the suspects riding in two cars opened fire on the police to free Taifi Butt from custody, succeeding in getting him released and escaping.
Punjab Police stated that during the firing by the attackers to free Taifi Butt, Constable Noor Hassan was injured. A case has been registered for the attack on police on the complaint of the DSP.
Later, according to reports that emerged, the suspect Taifi Butt, who was wanted by Lahore Police, was also killed in an alleged police encounter in Rahim Yar Khan by the firing of his own accomplices.
It is to be noted that the prime suspect in the murder case had fled abroad after the killing of Amir Balaj Tipu, however, police had arrested him and brought him back to the country.
