Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has reportedly decided to remove Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, according to Bushra Bibi’s lawyer, Rai Salman, who revealed the development on Wednesday.

According to ARY News, the decision to remove Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has reportedly been made following a serious dispute with Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan.

The rift escalated last week when CM Gandapur and Aleema Khan exchanged sharp allegations. The dispute began after Aleema accused Gandapur of misleading her imprisoned brother by claiming that she was attempting to hijack the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) with the support of a military intelligence agency.

Her comments came just a day after Gandapur met Imran Khan in jail for over two hours and left without speaking to the media.

Aleema alleged that Imran Khan had informed her of Gandapur’s complaint against her. “Ali Amin claimed I was in contact with Military Intelligence (MI) and had ambitions to become the party chairman,” she said, firmly adding that Imran Khan would remain the party’s leader.

Meanwhile, ARY News reports that Suhail Afridi is emerging as the leading candidate to replace Gandapur as the next chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

However, PTI Chairman Barrister Ali Gohar has dismissed reports of any change in the chief minister’s position.

On the other hand, Suhail Afridi, who has been named as a potential candidate for the position of Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has also denied any such decision or claim.
