Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s new film, Welcome To The Jungle, is heading for success at the box office, with early figures being described as a “clean hit.”
Reports say the film collected nearly INR67 crore in India in its opening weekend. That is significantly higher than Akshay Kumar’s earlier 2025 release, Bhoot Bangla which made INR54.5 crore in its first weekend.
Trade analysts said the film’s earning trend is positive and it is likely to cross the INR100 crore mark in a few days. A 150 crore total is also not out of reach. If the momentum holds, the film could even enter the 200 crore club.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, the ensemble comedy features Akshay Kumar alongside Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Aftab Shivdasani, Johnny Lever and 32 other actors.
The film has received positive responses from both critics and audiences. Strong *word of mouth* is being cited as a key factor behind its solid box office run.
Based on the opening numbers, the film is being viewed as a hit rather than a flop, with further growth in total collections expected in the coming days.
