Yesterday, the decision of the US Senate to approve a new aid of 12 billion dollars for Ukraine came out, while the US Senate had given this approval on the night of September 29 and 30 according to Pakistani time.
The international media said that three billion dollars out of the 12 billion dollars approved by the US Senate can be used by Ukraine’s Army for the purchase of weapons, supplies and payment of salaries.
In addition, this aid of 12 billion US dollars will also be useful for the economic stability of Ukraine. It will also be useful to run the government and provide facilities to the people.
It should be noted that the huge aid that the US has announced to Ukraine is not the first time, but the US has taken such measures in the recent past too.
Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the United States and its allies have been increasingly involved in helping Kyiv, but at the same time, they have been reluctant to confront Russia directly.
In May, the US Congress approved aid of $40 billion to Ukraine and $13.6 billion earlier. The aid approved by Washington was aimed at retaliating against Russia.
Russia’s attack on Ukraine on the war front was said to be due to Ukraine’s accession to the European Union and Western countries’ support while the peace talks between the two countries failed.
In the Russian-Ukrainian military operation, which is still being avoided as a war, Russia has sent 70% contract and 30% conscripted soldiers to Ukraine, aged between 18 and 27 years, as per a report.
On the one hand, the crises of fuel and wheat are emerging at the international level, while on the other hand, Western countries have also become active in isolating Moscow from the world.
The European Union has announced to end its dependence on Russian fuel by 2030 and the implementation of this decision will start with gas. So far, the EU has only been able to ban Russian coal and oil, not gas or nuclear energy.
Consider that on one side, Russia is alone and enjoying the support of a few countries including China and on the other side, there is an army of US, NATO and European Union countries, which Russia is facing alone.
It is necessary that the international community and Russia also take the path of avoiding the war situation and military operation gradually to control the crises of wheat and commodities at the international level. The path of dialogue can be adopted to settle the issue as war is not in the interest of any nation.
