LAHORE: Accountability Court has extended the hearing of the assets case filed against former Lahore Development Authority (LDA) director general Ahad Cheema till 26th March.
AC judge Amjad Nazir Chaudhry conducted the hearing in which nine witnesses came forth and given their testimonies in the case.
During the hearing, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) claimed Ahad Cheema acquired extraordinary in-country as well as abroad.
According to the NAB, Cheema is accused of holding the benami properties on his family’s name. He has an estimated value of 600 million rupees.
NAB filed a case against Cheema in January in connection with the assets-beyond-means case as the bureau had claimed that former LDA DG possessed assets more than his known sources of income.
