The much-anticipated horror thriller movie ‘A Quiet Place Part II’ has been opened for the audience in cinema and is projected to gross $58.5 million in North America.

The latest “Quiet Place” — a John Krasinski-directed sequel to the popular 2018 film about a young family trying to outwit horrific blind monsters with frighteningly keen hearing — is projected to take in $58.5 million for the four-day Memorial Day weekend, said industry watcher Exhibitor Relations.

A Quiet Place II will also turn to stream after 45 days in theaters when it becomes available on Paramount+. Moreover, the movie’s debut was much watched throughout Hollywood as the kickoff to its delayed summer movie season. After largely sitting out the pandemic, or diverting to streaming platforms, a lineup of blockbusters is again queuing up.
