MULTAN: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has taken into custody 150 Pakistanis deported from Saudi Arabia on their arrival in Multan.

Pakistanis deported from Saudi Arabia were flown to Multan on a special flight. As per the FIA sources, citizens who were deported from Saudi Arabia were allegedly involved in criminal activities. It may be recalled that two weeks ago, Turkey deported 22 Pakistani nationals residing illegally. The deported Pakistani nationals had reached Islamabad from Istanbul on Flight TK710.

According to airport officials, 11 people were allowed to leave after immigration, while 11 others were transferred to the FIA’s anti-trafficking cell. Earlier, Turkey deported 30 Pakistani nationals living illegally. The citizens arrived in Islamabad from Istanbul on flight TK710.

Airport officials said that the FIA had transferred the anti-human trafficking cell to Pakistanis. Earlier, the agency had foiled an attempt to travel abroad from Islamabad through forged documents and arrested the accused involved in forgery. When the FIA immigration officials checked the visa of Muhammad Bilawal, a resident of Sialkot, at Islamabad International Airport, it turned out to be fake.
