ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Abdul Hammed Lone today (Tuesday) has expressed concern over the deteriorating situation of the Indian Illegally Occupied Kashmir.

Earlier in the day, Indian troops, in an act of state terrorism, martyred two Kashmiris in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Indian forces martyred two more Kashmiris under the guise of a search operation in the Shopian district.

Talking to M.M News, Abdul Hammed Lone said that Kashmiris will get the freedom because of their uncountable sacrifices for their motherland. “India cannot suppress the Kashmiris’ voice of freedom through oppression and brutalities,” he added.

“India is committing war crimes in IIOJK by transforming its demography, carrying out genocide, ethnic cleansing and barefacedly violating human rights in Occupied Kashmir,” he remarked.

Abdul Hammed further said that not only were Kashmiris being targeted but under the fascist rule of the RSS-BJP regime, Muslims all over India were being lynched, mobbed, and – under the Citizen Amendment Act – are at risk of becoming stateless.

“After 1947 many states got independence, unfortunately, there are 2 disputed zones which are deprived of their right to independence, one is Kashmir and the other is Palestine,” he pointed out.

He also said, “India is using Israeli-style pellet guns, committing genocide and making geographical changes and arresting young children.” He urged the United Nations and international community to play its due role in resolving the longstanding issue as it is imperative for regional peace and security.
