QUETTA: An 8-year-old girl was allegedly raped, tortured and killed in the Ahmed Wal area of Nushki district, Balochistan, sparking grief and outrage across the region.
According to police sources, the girl’s body was allegedly buried after the incident. Following the receipt of information, authorities exhumed the body from the grave and shifted it to Civil Hospital Quetta for a post-mortem examination.
The medical examination is expected to help investigators establish the circumstances surrounding the girl’s death and provide further evidence for legal proceedings.
Nushki Rape: Family Demands Justice
The victim’s family has registered a case and called for the immediate arrest of all suspects involved in Nushki rape case. They have also demanded justice and strict punishment under the law.
The incident has created an atmosphere of mourning in Ahmed Wal, with residents expressing concern over the safety of children in the area.
Home Minister Seeks Into Nushki Rape
Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Lango took strict notice of the alleged Nushki rape and killing. He sought a report from Nushki Senior Superintendent of Police (SP) Saleem Shahwani and the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Rakhshan Division.
Deputy Home Minister Babar Yousafzai said the authorities had directed law-enforcement agencies to arrest those involved as soon as possible and ensure that they are brought to justice.
Police Arrest One Suspect
SP Nushki Saleem Shahwani confirmed that police had arrested one suspect allegedly linked to the case. Raids are also being conducted at several locations to apprehend other possible suspects.
Police said the investigation remains ongoing and that all aspects of the case are being examined. Further details are expected after the post-mortem report is completed.
