LAHORE: The accountability court has extended the physical remand of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif till 20th October.
A money-laundering reference case was heard in accountability court Lahore. The court ordered to present the detained accused in the courtroom and asked why Shehbaz Sharif has not appeared yet.
On which the NAB prosecutor took the position that an attempt is made to bring him quickly but the accused himself does not come out in a hurry.
He said that all this was being done at the behest of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Shehzad Akbar. “I should be allowed to have therapy because of my back pain. Want to hurt a person where he is already hurt,” the PML-N leader said.
