KARACHI: Gold prices recorded a significant decline across bullion markets in Pakistan, reversing the increase seen a day earlier as precious metal prices fell in both local and international markets.
According to data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs4,300 per tola, bringing the price down to Rs436,336 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold also declined by Rs3,687, settling at Rs374,087.
Silver prices also followed a downward trend in the local bullion market, with the price of silver falling by Rs56 per tola to Rs6,522.
Meanwhile, gold prices declined in the international bullion market as well. The price of gold fell by $43 per ounce to $4,138.
