LAHORE: After dominating Pakistan’s digital space with family vlogs, famous YouTuber Rajab Butt is now set to try his luck in the film industry.
Rajab Butt, who has remained in the headlines for multiple controversies alongside his massive online popularity, will soon be seen on the big screen in a new Pakistani film. Actress Amar Khan has been cast as the female lead opposite him.
Butt has been one of Pakistan’s most-followed content creators for the past several years. He currently boasts nearly 9 million subscribers on YouTube and around 3 million followers on Instagram, where his family vlogs and personal life content regularly trend.
According to industry reports, Butt’s debut project will be an action-comedy film. The film is written by Sarmad Ibrahim and will be directed by renowned filmmaker Syed Faisal Bukhari.
