LAHORE: The troubled relationship between popular Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt and his former wife, Iman Fatima, has taken another turn, with Fatima claiming that she received legal notices from her ex-husband on her birthday.
Speaking in a recent vlog by her brother Aun Sheikh, Fatima said she received what she sarcastically described as “very sweet gifts” on her birthday, including a defamation notice and another legal notice concerning the custody of their son, Keyvan Sultan.
According to Fatima, the notices were sent by Rajab Butt.
However, Butt has yet to publicly confirm or respond to the allegations regarding the purported legal action.
The latest development comes after months of public controversy surrounding the couple’s relationship. Their marriage had previously been the subject of social media speculation, with reports of differences between the couple and their families emerging periodically.
In July, Fatima’s brother Aun Sheikh had claimed that the couple had reconciled and that their divorce dispute had been resolved, although neither Butt nor Fatima had officially confirmed the reported reconciliation at the time.
The couple married in 2024 and welcomed their son, Keyvan Sultan, in September 2025. Their relationship later deteriorated amid publicly discussed differences, eventually leading to their divorce.
The latest claims suggest that the dispute may now have moved into the legal arena, particularly over defamation and the custody of their son.
