Pakistani vlogger and heavy-bike rider Komal Jan tragically passed away after falling into the Soan River near Rawalpindi.
Komal Jan was widely recognized in the local digital space for her passion for traveling and motorcycling under her platform name, “Ride with Komal”.
According to details, the tragic incident occurred on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, following heavy monsoon rains that caused flooding in local waterways, including the Soan River and Nullah Lai.
Police are investigating whether 28-year-old Komal Jan allegedly jumped from a bridge or accidentally fell into the flooded river while recording a video for social media.
According to police, Komal worked as an assistant at the Election Commission of Pakistan and was active on social media.
Police said she was seen wearing a helmet in her riding videos and had travelled to a private housing society on her heavy bike on the day of the incident.
Authorities were initially alerted through emergency helpline 15 after a caller reported that the woman had jumped from the bridge.
However, police have not treated the claim as conclusive and are investigating both the possibility of suicide and an accidental fall while she was recording content for TikTok or another social media platform.
Police said Komal’s mobile phone was recovered from her handbag, which was found with her motorcycle. Investigators are also attempting to trace the original caller and locate potential eyewitnesses to determine what happened before her death.
