A new leak about Samsung’s upcoming foldable smartphones has sparked fresh speculation in the tech industry, claiming the company is developing five different foldable flagship devices for release in 2027.
According to reports, the alleged codenames for Samsung’s future devices are B9, H9, Q9A, Q9B, and Z9, offering an early glimpse into the company’s next-generation foldable lineup.
Sources suggest that B9 is likely the codename for the Galaxy Z Flip 9, while H9 is believed to refer to the Galaxy Z Fold 9. This assumption is based on previous models, with the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 reportedly carrying the codenames B8 and H8, respectively.
The leak further claims that Q9A and Q9B could represent different versions of the Galaxy Z Fold 9 Ultra and the Tri-Fold 2. However, these details have not been officially confirmed.
The device carrying the Z9 codename has attracted the most attention, with speculation suggesting it could be a tablet-like product rather than a conventional smartphone.
According to technology analysts, Z9 may become Samsung’s first device featuring a rollable display, allowing the screen to expand by rolling out instead of folding.
Samsung has not officially commented on the leak or the rumored devices. As a result, the information should be regarded as speculation rather than confirmed plans.
