Magnitude 5.3 earthquake hits multiple cities in Pakistan

Earthquake tremors were felt in several cities across Pakistan.

The tremors were reported in Islamabad and Lahore, as well as in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Lower Dir, and surrounding regions.

According to the Seismological Centre, the earthquake measured 5.3 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 174 kilometers.

The epicenter was located in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.
