Dutch earthquake researcher Frank Hoogerbeets has issued a new warning about potential seismic activity on Earth, predicting the possibility of strong earthquakes between 13 and 15 February.

Hoogerbeets, who is known for his controversial predictions, has cautioned the public to remain alert not only for possible tremors but also for what he described as an unexpected “surprise”. He attributed this warning to a specific alignment of the Earth, the Moon and Jupiter.

While his statements have sparked concern on social media, the scientific community has consistently dismissed such claims as unscientific.

According to Hoogerbeets, increased seismic activity may be observed in the coming days. This time, he has also urged people to be mindful of a potential unforeseen event. He claims that the current alignment of celestial bodies — which he refers to as “planetary geometry” — is of particular significance.

In his analysis, Hoogerbeets stated that between 13 and 15 February, the Earth, Moon and Jupiter will align in a straight line, which he believes could lead to heightened earthquake activity.

In a video shared on social media, he advised:
“I recommend that people remain extremely cautious between 13 and 15 February, as a major earthquake could occur during this period, along with an unexpected event.”

However, experts have reiterated that such assertions lack scientific basis, stressing that, according to current scientific understanding, planetary movements have no proven link to earthquakes on Earth.

It is worth noting that Hoogerbeets gained widespread attention after the devastating February 2023 earthquake in Türkiye, which he claims to have predicted three days in advance.
