ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that the struggle of people in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK) could not be suppressed by the ruling Indian government.
In his tweet, the president wrote that the struggle of Kashmiris, despite a brutal crackdown by the Indian government would not be suppressed.

In his tweet, Arif Alvi also shared a tweet posted by the American newspaper The New York Times in which it wrote, ” ‘This could be the beginning of a new politics for Muslims and for India as well,’ said one Muslim doctor who attended a protest in Hyderabad that was at least 100,000 people strong. ‘This will not fizzle out’.”Â
A nationwide demonstration has entered its fourth week in India against a contentious citizenship law. At least 100,000 people gathered on Saturday in Hyderabad protest against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and new law.
