LAHORE: TV anchor Mubashir Lucman on Monday has filed an application for legal action against Federal Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry in Lahore’s Model Town Police Station.
The anchorperson claimed in the application that he was pushed by Chaudhry and his guards and brutally tortured at the wedding ceremony of the son of Punjab minister Mohsin Leghari on Sunday.

During an interview in a TV show on Sunday night, Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhary said, “There was a scuffle that broke out into a little fight and in a fight, as usually happens, I might have slapped him and he might have hit one.”
However, Luqman, who had refrained from speaking publicly on the incident, lodged an application against the minister and filed a First Information Report (FIR) late Sunday evening. Police also acknowledged receiving the appeal and have confirmed that the case will be addressed lawfully.
