KARACHI: A group of pro-Palestine protesters stormed a Domino’s Pizza outlet in Karachi on Tuesday as part of the ongoing global Gaza solidarity strike, escalating a wave of demonstrations targeting multinational franchises perceived to be linked to Israeli interests.
Earlier, similar scenes were witnessed at KFC branches on I.I. Chundrigar Road and in Bahadurabad, where protesters entered the premises, raised slogans, and disrupted operations.
The demonstrations are part of a coordinated global campaign calling for an end to Israel’s military operations in Gaza and increased pressure on companies allegedly supporting or profiting from the occupation.

Local authorities and police arrived at the scenes shortly after the protests broke out to prevent further damage. No injuries were reported, but some outlets were forced to shut down temporarily due to the unrest.
Protesters say the demonstrations will continue until businesses sever ties with entities linked to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the occupied Palestinian territories.
