Ushna Shah says hijab doesn’t make you a good person

Actress and model Ushna Shah reveals her perspective on the hijab, emphasizing that it is a personal choice.

In a recent interview, she shared her reflections on a Umarah she undertook two years ago during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Addressing the common misconception, Ushna Shah remarked that people often associate wearing a hijab or modest clothing with being a virtuous person. Contrary to this belief, she expressed that one’s attire does not determine their moral character. While acknowledging individuals who adhere to modest dress, Ushna Shah revealed her skepticism about equating it with goodness, stating, “I know many who cover themselves, but I don’t automatically consider them good human beings. I believe that your character is not defined by your clothing choices.”
