In an unfortunate incident, another minor girl died after falling into an open manhole in Baldia Town area of Karachi.
As per details, a 4-year-old girl, identified as Umra Baloch, was playing in the Moach Goth area when she fell into an uncovered manhole.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, upon receiving the information, they reached the spot, but the relatives of the minor girl had already retrieved the body of Umra from the manhole.
This is not the first time that a life was lost in such an incident in Karachi. Several people, including children, have died after falling into open manholes, as the metropolis has long-standing sewerage and other maintenance woes.
