Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’ gets release date on Netflix 

The new release date of Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor starrer ‘The Archies’ has been revealed.

Now you can watch Suhana Khan as Veronica Lodge, Agastya as Archie Andrews, Khushi as Betty Cooper, and Vedang Raina as Jughead Jones in the captivating musical drama this December.

Helmed by Zoya Akhtar, the movie is an adaptation of the eponymous novel and features Bollywood’s A-listers’ children. The Indian adaptation of Archie comics with her movie The Archies.

Drawing inspiration from the globally-loved Archie Comics characters, The Archies wrapped up filming in December last year. It was earlier stated that the movie would be released this year in November, however, it has been pushed to December 2023.

Set at a hill station in the swinging 1960s, the film follows the lives of Archie and friends navigating friendship, heartbreak, rebellion, school protests, dance parties, and more.

The Archies movie marks the fourth live-action universe project stripped from the comics, following The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Katy Keene, and the recently-ended Riverdale.

The coming-of-age musical ‘The Archies’ is slated to drop December 7 on Netflix.
