Investigation of May 9 mayhem

The tragedy of May 9 will be remembered in the country’s history for the fact that apart from the arson and violent incidents that took place during it, the humiliating incidents made the nation bow down in shame.

It is necessary that all the culprits involved in the tragedy of May 9 should be arrested, they should be punished and made a lesson because those who insult the memorials of the Quaid-e-Azam and the memorials of the martyrs do not deserve any concession.

In one of his tweets, Imran Khan said that the simplest way to determine those responsible for the arson attack on May 9 is to ask who has benefited the most from these events.

Imran Khan said that the second important question is how PTI workers can be targeted under a very integrated and amazing plan in just two days. Supporters and journalists positive to the narrative were imprisoned or rendered humble and irrelevant.

Considering the events of the May 9 tragedy, Tehreek-e-Insaf suffered the most, whose workers were arrested and whose leaders were arrested for the second and third time after being granted bail.

Even if the arrest is ignored, the way Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders made dozens of announcements to quit the party and then politics and the way they all condemned the events of May 9, one thing is clear.

Undoubtedly, the conscience of all the politicians was awakened at the same time, all of them decided at the same time that both PTI and politics should be left and that the events of May 9 must be condemned. Does this make any sense?

Earlier, Imran Khan issued several other statements which suggest that the former prime minister believes that the PTI leaders are not leaving the party but are being rid of them. They don’t want to stay away from politics, but they are being kept away.

Another aspect of all these events may be that the events took place under a well-thought-out conspiracy but behind them was Tehreek-e-Insaf, which is actually an anti-national party behind the cloak of leading the nation. Let this be assumed for some time so that this aspect of the investigation can also be examined.

In such a case, Tehreek-e-Insaf’s motive behind all these incidents may be to play the victim card i.e. the PTI leadership, including Imran Khan, thought that they would attack the country’s identity, martyrs’ memorials, and Jinnah House on May 9 and then show indifference to it, as PTI is doing.

Thus, a large number of people will stand up in favor of PTI and all the blame for the incident will be put on the PDM government. However, until there is a full, transparent, and impartial investigation into all these incidents, the nation will remain ignorant of the real motives of these incidents.
